Résumé : |
Tomosynthesis is a technology that is beginning to make a lot of talk about it. It represents a new technique in the realization of a mammogram.
It brings many advantages of which the most interesting is the desuperposition of the structures of the mammary gland. Many questions arise about this technique, notably the dose delivered to the patients but also the benefits that it could bring. A lot of studies have demonstrated that tomosynthesis is a more effective technique for detecting architectural distortions, density asymmetries and opacities. Concerning calcifications, the subject is controversial. Today, tomosynthesis is used in addition to conventional mammography. But new software, the C-View, can be done without conventional mammography. Indeed, this software realizes a synthetic 2D image, which is very similar to the conventional 2D mammography. |
