Résumé : | Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a severe and potentially life threatening complication of pregnancy characterised by extreme levels of intractable nausea and vomiting leading to dehydration, malnutrition and a host of other complications (Dean & Gadsby 2013). Although rare, affecting only 11.5% of pregnant women, it can have a profound effect on the sufferer's health and well-being (Gadsby & Barnie-Adshead 2011,Einarson et al 2013).
