Résumé : |
When an osteochondral lesion of the talar dome (OCLT) is suspected, a magnetic resonance image has higher sensitivity but a computed tomographic scan has higher specificity in terms of size and extent of the osseous destruction.
Nonsurgical treatment should be considered first in OCLT cases, even though studies show low success rates. The size and location of the lesion greatly dictate the preferred surgical procedure. |
