Résumé : |
Plantar verrucae, caused by human papillomavirus, are observed at higher rates in human immunodeficiency virus-infected patients.
Atypical types of human papillomavirus have been identified as causative agents of plantar warts in human immunodeficiency virus-infected patients. The implementation of human immunodeficiency virus antiretroviral therapy had an impact on the clinical manifestations of plantar warts, but the prevalence continues to be significantly higher among patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection. A limited number of studies have explored treatment modalities for plantar warts in human immunodeficiency virus-infected patients. |
