Résumé : |
- Available data suggest that 3G represents the evolution of MIS or percutaneous surgery.
- Stable fixation of 3G osteotomy allows early full weight bearing and mobilization of the first metatarsophalangeal joint. - Currently higher quality studies support MIS surgery. Despite this, prospective studies, larger populations, and long-term follow-up are needed to arrive at definitive conclusions on the best surgical treatment option for MIS HV correction. - This study provides a comprehensive overview of the current literature and clearly demonstrates the variation in outcome and complication rates among procedures. - To avoid complications, it is recommended to start an extensive training by performing related cadaveric courses, perform fellowships with orientation toward MIS surgery, or eventually attend reference centers for a suitable period. |
