Résumé : |
Biomechanical examination is a general term to define an examination that defines whether abnormal mechanical function of a body part is occurring.
The first goal of the biomechanical examination is to identify that abnormal function is occurring. The second goal of the biomechanical examination is to identify the cause of the abnormal function. The third goal of the biomechanical examination is to link the abnormal function with the reasons for the pathologic condition developing, or it should predict pathologic condition that is likely to develop. The biomechanical examination is a composite of evaluating function, joint range of motion, and testing for muscle tension and strength. |
