Résumé : | Different radiological modalities for investigating the human body exist in medical imaging: conventional radiology, ultrasound, CT and MRI. This thesis focuses more specifically on one of the noble organs of the human body: the kidney. Each of the aforementioned techniques have advantages and disadvantages. For example, CT and conventional radiology are radiating techniques while ultrasound and MRI are not. In addition, when injecting a contrast product, it presents risks. Also, some techniques can highlight some anatomical structures while others do not. The choice between the different modalities are based on what you want to visualize. Finally, this work makes it possible to make the reader understand that there are different imaging techniques and to shed more light on what is possible to visualize for each of the modalities and according to the clinical question asked. |
