Résumé : |
The purpose of this work is to analyze the medical care in radiology examinations of the young athletes between the age of 15 to 45 years, that shows an anterior dislocation of the shoulder, and highlighting the role of medical imaging technologist in this procedure. However, we will also show the goal of choosing a modality and tools as gold standard.First of all, this retrospective and partly prospective study, was based on 43 patients. We carried out a complete analysis and details of all information collected, classifying according to fourthemes: profile of the admitted patient, the history to be performed on arrival, the radiological examinations carried out and the pathologies diagnosed. We have concluded that the key examination is a standard X-ray which will aim to detect clear signs of pathology, and will be followed by an arthro-CT scan in order to refine the analysis of the joint. Background: CT-Scan or Computed Tomography Scan is one of the most widely used and accessible medical imaging modalities. It has a high sensitivity in the diagnosis of vascular diseases, among others the arteries of the lower limbs under the use of the Contrast Agent (CA).
With the evolution of technology in the medical sector, the latter has taken a leap in the acquisition of exams (rapidity and reduction of doses, contrast Agents and radiation delivered to patients), and post-processing softwares to improve the quality of care. The purpose of this work is to make a presentation of the dynamic dual-energy limb angio scan by highlighting its advantages and disadvantages as compared to conventional lower extremity arteriography. |
