Résumé : |
The treatment of patients presenting with complex foot injuries and associated high-energy Lisfranc injuries could be categorized in 2 phases: early damage control and definitive treatment.
The goals of treatment are to obtain a painless, plantigrade, and stable foot, with return to preinjury function. No statistically significant difference comparing primary arthrodesis versus open reduction and internal fixation in terms of work/sports return, complications and patient satisfaction rates. However, primary arthrodesis patients showed better functional scores. Anatomic reduction is a key factor for improved outcomes. |
